Restaurants We Love - El Barrio

Warning: Extreme foodie post coming...

There is no denying Julie and I have loved eating our way through Birmingham as we have explored our somewhat still new home. There are several great restaurants throughout the area that are unique to Birmingham. While we still have quite a large list of places we have yet to try, we have certainly found a mutual favorite. Both Mexican food lovers, when we decided to try El Barrio we knew we'd found a new love.

With a delicious Mexican infused brunch, the best grapefruit (or watermelon) margarita and a dinner menu full of amazing options, we are certainly the newest El Barrio loyals. The urban decor and prime location downtown make for a lovely meal. It's nice to sit outside and enjoy a drink while waiting for a table or sit on the patio for a meal. The community tables are fun for making new friends. Check out our recommendations:

Bloody Maria - el jimador, tomato, citrus, chipotle

  1. I am a Mexican food lover of Boston restaurants. I always order tequila with my every order. Simply amazing view there. I just love interior of the restaurant. Amazing place for throwing parties. I am organizing summer party there.
