10 Wallet-Friendly Red Wines

Photo via blog.anthropologie.com
Here you go, y'all. This is our round-up of our favorite inexpensive red wines to get you through the cooler months ahead. We love an Olivia Pope-sized glass of red wine every now and again, but since we're on a budget, we hunted for bottles that were friendly on our wallet. Most of these you can pick up at your local grocery store or Target, and a few are from our favorites, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods. We're just thankful that Trader Joe's is finally coming to Alabama in 2015! Praise!

1. Beringer Founder's Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. $9.

2. Francis Ford Coppola Rossa. $12.

3. Purple Moon Merlot. $3.99. (A STEAL!)

4. Redtree Pinot Noir. $6.99.

5. Gabbiano Chianti. $7.99.

6. Sterling Vintners Collection Cabernet Sauvignon "Central Coast." $11.99

7. Santa Julia InnovaciĆ³n Malbec Tempranillo. $10.

8. Ravenswood Vintners Blend Zinfandel. $10.

Through our research and taste-testing, we came across this article that tells you where to look for inexpensive (yet good quality) reds. Worth a read!
